The look and the prompts are one upfront design package. You review the look before the included prompt-writing run starts. Drawing, look updates, and export show their own credit prices before you approve them.

Plokeo is currently an invite-only beta. If you’ve been invited, sign in with the email and password provided by your host. You can request beta access using the beta access form. Requests are reviewed manually; public account signup isn’t open yet.

Upload an EPUB or plain-text (.txt) file, up to 30 MB, or paste your text. Memoirs, fiction, travel writing, journals, recipes, and essays are all starting points. There’s also a short Aesop sample after sign-in. Bring writing you own or have permission to use.

Plokeo works best with a finished manuscript, with the full context in place before illustrations are planned. You can’t edit the text after uploading it. More about manuscript readiness.

Plokeo works best with a finished manuscript. It uses the full text to understand characters, places, and how the story develops before planning illustrations. Drafts and unfinished works may leave out context that changes those decisions. You can try a shorter piece, but give it a complete story wherever possible and expect to review the results carefully.

Plokeo starts with your book, plans pictures around its passages, and keeps the text and artwork together in a reading edition. Shared character, place, and style references guide later pictures. You can review the look, change prompts, and refine individual images in Atelier without assembling the book by hand.

No. You can’t edit the book’s text in Plokeo after uploading it. Make text changes before you upload; a revised manuscript must be added as a new book. Plokeo preserves your uploaded words and adds illustrations alongside them without rewriting them.

Yes. During the look review, upload reference photos and leave notes on the proposed appearance of people, places, or objects. After planning, Atelier lets you edit written prompts for styles, characters, and scenes before drawing. Saving a prompt does not draw or redraw anything; new AI work has its own price and approval.

Shared reference pictures help carry the same characters and visual direction across scenes, but AI can still get details wrong. In Atelier, give instructions for a whole picture or select an area to adjust. You can add references, rewrite a prompt for a redraw, compare versions, and choose an earlier picture. New drawings and adjustments use credits.

Yes. The reader offers EPUB and typeset PDF under This book → Export. Export uses your saved text and selected pictures; it does not draw missing artwork. Preparing an export has its own credit quote. Once ready, you can download that prepared file again without starting another credit charge.

Review the proposed look, prompts, and finished pictures, and use Atelier to revise results that do not fit your story. AI can make mistakes when interpreting your book: it may miss context, invent details, or vary a character’s appearance. Take particular care with memoirs, real people, and factual writing; Plokeo does not fact-check your manuscript.

If a drawing request is refused, review the message and revise the scene within the image provider’s rules. Providers apply safety filters even to fictional scenes. Plokeo cannot override those filters, so not every request can be generated.

The invite-only beta is free. You are not asked to pay; credits track and limit AI work. The design package covers the proposed look and the prompts with one upfront credit price. Continuing after you approve the look is included. Updating the look, drawing, image adjustments, and export preparation show their own credit prices before you approve them. Adding text, reading, and saving choices or prompts do not use credits.

Designing the look costs 20 credits and includes the prompts. Each new picture costs 1 credit, including reference pictures. You’ll see the total before you approve any work.

We plan to offer credit packs rather than subscriptions in the future. Paid packs are not available in this beta. Purchase prices and expiry terms will be shown before any future purchase.

No. After planning, you can start with one illustration and its required reference pictures, with their combined price shown before approval. You can then draw individual pictures or approve a whole-book batch. Starting with one picture leaves automatic drawing off.

The look proposal and illustration plan can each take 30 minutes or more. You review the proposed look between these two runs; drawing comes afterward. Accepted work continues if you close the page. Return through your Library and open Activity to see its status and the next decision.

Stop prevents queued work from starting, but work already sent to an AI provider may still finish and use credits. Closing the page does not stop it. Stopping does not guarantee that credits will be returned. If a run fails or a credit charge looks wrong, email [email protected] before spending more credits on another attempt.

Use text and reference images you own, have permission to use for AI processing and adaptation, or that are in the public domain for your intended use. Being able to download a book or photo does not itself give you those permissions. Get appropriate permission before uploading someone else’s private writing or photos.

No. You keep the rights you already have in your writing and uploaded materials. Plokeo does not claim ownership of them. Using the service permits the processing and content review described below; it does not give Plokeo permission to publish your work.

Check the rights to your source text, reference images, and any recognizable people or protected material in the output before sharing or selling it. Generating a picture does not establish that it is exclusive, copyrightable, or cleared for commercial use. Publisher and marketplace rules may also require disclosure of AI-generated artwork.

Your library is tied to your account. Plokeo does not publish your uploaded texts, images, or personal information online or share them in a public gallery. During the beta, we may access and read your uploaded texts and review related prompts and results to investigate problems, test changes, and improve the app experience. This may happen without a support request from you.

AI features send relevant text, prompts, and images to external providers. They may retain data under their own policies. How provider processing works.

Yes. Plokeo uses APIs from multiple external AI providers. When you approve AI work, the book text, prompts, reference images, and related results needed for that work are sent to the providers that prepare or draw your edition. Hosting and storage providers also process data to run the service.

Your content does not stay only on your device or within Plokeo. Provider processing is subject to their applicable terms, privacy policies, and our service arrangements, including their retention and security practices. Providers may retain data under those policies. Only upload material you are comfortable having reviewed by Plokeo and processed by these services, and have permission to use in this way.

Yes, from your Library. Book deletion is permanent and removes its source and derived artwork from your Plokeo workspace. Re-uploading starts a new book; it does not restore the old plan, pictures, or reading state. Account-level financial records needed to reconcile charges are retained. Deleting a book does not recall copies you have already downloaded or shared. We request deletion through available provider APIs. Their retention policies may keep some records in backups or safety logs.

Open Account and choose Delete my account, or email [email protected] if self-service deletion is unavailable. After confirmation, you lose access and cleanup continues in the background, removing your books, uploads, generated work, and account details from Plokeo’s active systems. Anonymized credit audit records remain. This cannot be undone.

We request deletion through available provider APIs. Providers may retain some records in backups or safety logs under their own policies. Contact [email protected] for help or to request removal of diagnostic copies held outside the app.
